How We Evaluate
What we do
- We reproduce published claims as published. Every wattage and horsepower figure is the manufacturer's or a major retailer's own number.
- We label every calculation. Horsepower-to-watt conversions and circuit comparisons are arithmetic, marked as derived everywhere they appear.
- We record non-disclosure honestly. Where a spec is not published, the cell reads “Not disclosed”. We never fill a gap with an estimate.
- We show conflicts rather than resolving them. Where retailers list different wattages for the same model, we record the conflict.
What we do not do
- We have not bench-tested any blender. Nothing here is our own measurement. Third-party measurements are attributed in the row's source field.
- We do not call any manufacturer's claim false. A peak figure is a real measurement of a different thing. We put the numbers side by side and define the terms.
- We do not give electrical advice. Circuit capacity varies by home. Consult a licensed electrician about your own wiring.
